I was reading some of your answers and i wanted to comment on 2 of them. Do NOT give you child green onion, it's very common to have EColi, and Cow's milk should never be given until age 1. As for the teething, we thought our son was teething at 2 months also, exhibited all the same signs, so on occasion, we'd give him a dose of tylenol...worked great.....weird thing is, he didn't get his first tooth until 13months and 3 days old.

I wouldn't give a baby that young a freezie (artificial colour and sugar- yuk!)

Your allergic reaction to Orajel does not necessarily mean that she will have one. Maybe put a tiny bit on her lip and see? If she doesn't react, then YAY! If she does react, maybe throw a carrot in the freezer for 15 min. or so, that is a good for teething.

You can use a frezzie just don't open it. Let her chew on it for a little bit and then you can throw it back into the frezzer, she doesn't have any teeth so she can't chew open the wrapper. The teeth are more then likely just coming down and it is natural for her to be in pain. Also if you do it this way there is no mess and that is a plus

its VERY rare for a baby to be teething at 2 months. I thought for sure my twins were teething (at almost 4 mo) because they were so fussy and drooling and it seemed like nothing would calm them...but their ped said that they are drooling because the teeth are coming down..but they are NOT teething...and more drool is getting them ready for solids to break down the solids with saliva..Babies dont normally teeth till 6 mo or so.so your baby is probably NOT teething..just probably needs more sleep (thats what mine needed..they were not taking very long naps) so try to get your baby to sleep a little more. If it turns out that your baby IS in fact teething..wet a washcloth stick it in the freezer for a few min and hold it in their mouth so he can knaw on it. And there also is a product out there ..i forget what it is called but they are teething tablets that are soft and dissolve instantly. Look in the baby section at walmart thats where i found them..and you can use them at any age!

Try using Gentle Naturals Homeopathic teething drops. All you do is put half a dropper under the baby's tongue. its 100 % natural and works great. You can get it at Target or Walmart.

Take carrots (not baby carrot b/c she could choke) and freeze them Give them to her. They are big enough to grab, the cold will numb her gums and bring down swelliing and the hard will help her sooth the pain. They work great and natural means no unnecessary drugs. Good luck!

give her another brand of ora-gel. is she's drooling a lot and cranky she is probably teething. hold a cold teething ring in her mouth for her so she gets some relief. you could always try a homeopathic teething gel also, found at a healthfood store. good luck to you and your daughter!!

as i know usally teeth come after 4 motnths.i think she must be hungry. if child is not satisfied with feeding, in that case also they bite hands.still i suggest homeopathic medicine called dentonic can help u out. also can rub few drops of hunny on her gums. still i would suggest don't worry too much let time passes she'll get teeth soon and will be happy. if possible start cow's milk from next month,.

This may sound weird but take a green onion. The top greenish part. Split it open and rub it on her gums (the inner part). It will stop the itchiness and soothe her at the same time. Good luck!

Put a wet rag in the freezer. She will love it and her rosy cheeks will get even rosier. When she is bigger and on solid foods you can upgrade her rag to a frozen bagel. Yum!
