Bare Minerals--you can buy it at Sephora. Not only is it light it, it's very clean--you'll NEVER go back to a liquid or mousse foundation again!

Think about a primer like Mac Studio Fix, or something to "prime" the skin before putting on your makeup. This will help makeup stay on a blank canvas better.
Or look for primers that are meant to be mattifying, and claim to soak up oil (they normally have white clay in them)
I'd also consider blotting papers - to blot oil off your face as the day goes on to control shine..
And look for foundation that has no oil in it (I think the mousse has oil), and is meant for oily skin.
So far, I've found mineral foundation to be pretty decent, but I need a good kabuki brush to apply it before I can give it my stamp of approval - it stays on my skin all day, keeps it fairly matte and is very natural with a good natural SPF in it. (Bare Escentuals, Tarte, Physicians Formula, Jane Iredale, Pur Minerals) are all mineral foundations.

Look you can still use your foundation, just make sure after you apply your foundation you must dust some loose powder. Loose powder contains oil absorbers which will set your makeup. But if you want to change you foundation i suggest you use a cream to powder foundation that is oil-free. This product is a creamy texture that dries to a powder finish, so you won't need to use the loose powder after applying it. These fomulas are kinder to oily skin and helps cut down on excess shine.

My skin is very oily. I just bought Mary Kay cream to powder makeup and love it. I have been at work all day and it is still on just like I left this morning. They also have a product called beauty blotter's oil absorbing tissues. It is designed to absorb the oils off your skin without taking your makeup off just by blotting with the cloths. I think Mary Kay's prices are very reasonable and you will enjoy there makeup. Give it a shot.

i might propose Revlon Colorstay commencing place for blend/Oily epidermis. the fee isn't too undesirable, i offered it at CVS for $14. It actually lasts all day (15-sixteen hours) and it would not rub off or make my epidermis oily like different commencing place manufacturers do. there's a purchase a million get a million loose sale with all Revlon products 'til April third at CVS good now (if there is one close to the place you reside). in my opinion it fairly is somewhat well worth it, with a bit of luck this helped :)

I recently started wearing the new foundation by Almay. Its called Smart Foundation, I think! It comes out white with specks of pigment in it and when you blend it in it matches your skin! I was sceptical but it WORKS! Its airy, has SPF, and I have oily skin and it stays all day!

MAC Studio Fix. Also, setting your foundation with a translucent powder will help your makeup stay put. My personal favorite is MAC Blot Powder pressed. No streaks and no shine.

There are a few things you should be doing:
Make sure that the products you are using on your skin are pH correct, which is so important to your skin. Our skin is natural pH is about a 7.0 on the pH scale from 1-14. Most bar soaps or anti-bacterial soaps have a higher pH, which helps them to foam and gives you that squeaky clean feeling. People with oily skin especially like this feeling as it dries up and removes a lot of the oil . The problem is, by removing so much of the oil from the surface of the skin, the oil glands get a message to produce more oil and it becomes a viscous cycle of over drying the skin with high pH cleansers and the skin trying to defend itself by producing too much oil. In people with dry skin which does not produce enough oil of its own, using a high pH cleanser such as soap only further drie out the skin. The oil on the skin is there to protect the skin from the environment and helps to combat aging. By using a pH correct product such as Arbonne, you will not sending your skin to extremes but instead are keep it well balanced helping your oil production in the long run...
Arbonne makes a product called " Arbonne INtelligence Personalizer"- this is a powder that is applied to absorbs the oil before moisturizing or applying make-up. It not only absorbs the oil, but is has a gree tint to it, thus it ensures that your foundation stays true to it's color... It costs $33.25 CAD
The skin care line that I would recommend would be the : " Intelligence not so basic skin care" if you are under 35.
both can be purchased here:http://tryitandloveit.myarbonne.com
Three key elements to help your skin look its best:
·Avoid the damaging sun: with 90% of aging caused by environmental damage and sun exposure, ensure that you wear a product that contains a broad spectrum sun block , and use it every day. Harmful sun rays penetrate clouds…so sun block is needed on cloudy days as well. Arbonne uses the latest in sunscreen technology in their day creams to ensure that you are protected from both the UVB and UVA rays.
·Practice good skin care: Using skin care products incorrectly can cause problems later in life. Learn how to remove make-up, and apply sun screen to let skin breath. Follow up with exfoliation to encourage skin cell turnover, and finish with a light moisturizer to protect the skin’s water barrier.
·Don’t mix brands: With hundreds of skin care products launched each year, it’s no wonder that many of us try the latest products…however that can lead to skin irritation and the development of sensitive skin. Skin care products need time to work, and as your body becomes accustomed to the formulas …you will see benefit. Each brand develops products to work together for best results. Pick a brand and stick with it.
Eating right to keep your skin soft, glowing and strong at any age:
·Orange/red fruits and vegetables: can include tomatoes, squash and carrots- these are packed with beta-carotene, which is an antioxidant that is essential for healthy skin, scalp and mucous membranes.
·Shellfish and fish: try salmon, crab, shrimp and lobster- contain astaxanthin, an extremely potent antioxidant that protects your skin from the damaging environment, helps prevent age spots and wrinkling.
·Nuts and seeds- these are rich in vitamin E which helps protect the skin from sun damage
·Citrus fruits- such as oranges, grapefruits, are high in Vitamin C. It is essential to collagen production, and it is the collagen that gives connective tissue strength and resilience.
·Unrefined whole grain- these could be wheat, barley , oats and rye- all contain silica, a mineral that helps to repair damaged skin , hair and nails. Silica helps to strengthen collagen and elastin.
