I have a pair of male gerbils, right now they have two huge cages connected. I wanted to introduce a young (under 7 week) male to them, but I read that they might reject him. Is it possible to introduce a bonded pair (young) to my already bonded pair???

Because you the new one is a baby and you have males there is a chance they would take him in, but I wouldn't try it. Usually introducing a new gerbil to an established pair doesn't work and the gerbils fight.

Also, a trio of gerbils isn't as stable as a pair especially when you have a complicated setup like yours where they could set up separate territories.

Yes you can do that. Gerbils are very sociable creatures, and friendly toward others ot their kind. But just to be safe, put the 7month one in a cage next to them for a couple days. This way they get used to their smell. Sometimes they even try to groom that one even though its in another cage, just look for positive and negative signals, and let them all get used to each other in different cages. We did this everytime we got a new gerbil or small pet and they all got along fine, good luck!

it's hard to introduce a new gerbil to an established clan(2, or more). but you can try. here is some help on introducing gerbils:

it's possible they might actually accept him, depending on how long the 2 gerbils have been together.
good luck!!

It is possible, and males are more likely to accept another male who is not their littermate. Be careful when you are introducing them, though, because they could get in a fight that might kill or injure each other. Take it slow, and it shouldn't be a problem.
