When I was a teenager, I wanted to be an ESPN anchor.

Nope, I'm not an ESPN anchor. Instead, I teach students with autism in high school.

I have a great wife, cute daughter and a job I love, so life is not a disappointment in the slightest.

I wanted to be an interior designer and I got my bachelors degree in that Field, however, I did it for a little longer than a year until I decided I was bored and not using my artistic abilities as much as I had hoped for, and basically no longer gave a crap what my wealthy clients decorate their starter castles with.
Now I work as an aide for special needs kids, and still make okay money doing it. I also write children's books in my spare time and have made some money doing this as well.
I am definitely not disappointed by this. My life has a more fulfilling purpose now.
If you are still young I bet you will be surprised how much your likes and dislikes change as well as your priorities, when you get to be thirty something.
I am 32.

I wanted to be married with a husband and kids.
No, because I'm happily serving the Lord and have extensively traveled the world (Ohio, Maryland, Deleware, North Carolina, Alaska & the Yukon, Southern Ontario, Scotland, England, Wales, Norway, Germany, Nigeria, Southern Texas, Kansas, Nebraska, Guatemala, Ireland and this summer am going on mission trip to Jamacia) Even though I'm not married yet, I have a Christian boyfriend that I love very much and it looks like marriage is coming.

I wanted to be a painter/artist in New Orleans. I ended up being a teacher-an English teacher. I now am a public librarian. I am enjoying my life and basically have no regrets. I have a daughter who I love dearly and husband who is my best friend as well as my lover.
I still enjoy art, punk music, tattoos, piercings, and my blue jeans and rock band t-shirts.
