It depends what you're in to, there lots of possibilities, here is my opinion, try to get you hands on Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time, Animal Crossing: Wild World, The Sims 2, Final Fantasy III or Advance Wars: Dual Strike. There are many others, I recommend going to either GameSpy.com, GameSpot.com or GameFaqs.com and check out some reviews.

Wario Ware Touched is a great game for those moments when you only want to play for like 2 minutes.
Beyond that, I'd recommend New Super Mario Bros. becuase, frankly, it's a boatload of fun!

the two best i can think of are........ resident evil (it is part one for playstation) or ...... madden 07' but you should get a psp its way better. i got a ds too
