If there were NON, Africa would be better off. Remember that. 200+ Kenyans would not be targeted by terrorists simply because they were in an American embassy. Thousands of Africans would NOT die if the American diamond industry would not involve in their political affairs. The Nigeria Delta rebels would not abduct Americans if no American oil worker was in Africa.
DUMB ***. MILLIONS of Americans LIVE IN AFRICA, and other MILLIONS go to Africa for exotic vacations. Africa, where it is always sunny, warm and natural. No implant trees, no robotic animals, no tornadoes, no hurricanes, no tsunamis. Ask me about the REAL AFRICA. I was born and raised here, and live here.

jk-there are americans in africa, in the military bases for a start, and there are a lot of american and global aid organizations with places in africa.

Seriously though there are certain elements of the US Military in certain African Countries - on the surface the Marine Guard at US Embassies but clandestinely they have Special Forces operating in certain troubled nations.
