Bearing in mind the olympics is only open to U 23 national teams, I think it would be a good idea to experiment with a GB team at the 2012 Olympics, primarily because we wouldn't have to qualify, which could cause problems in itself and take up time of the individual FA's. I would really like to see a GB football team in the 2012 Olympics, but unfortunately not before. But as I said, use it as a 'practice' to see the success in London and then see if it worth entering a team for 2016. However, I would not like to see it permenantly, far too much history.

No because it will threaten the existance of Scottish international football and anyway what Scot would support a football with 11 Englishmen in it.

Football can't be in the olympics. Footballers get payed for being proffesional footballers. You can't take part in the olympics if you're a proffesional (e.g. you're being paid for what you do) like a footballer.

Even if we could threr wouldn't be much point. Have you seen our squad lately?

Why bother when in the end your best squad would be all English anyway. Who from Wales, Scotland or Ireland would replace John Terry and Rio Ferdinand at full back or Wayne Rooney and Michael Owen up front, and so forth..............etc

yes - it won't happen but should if only to hasten the demise of each of the home FAs who are parasites living off the contributions of genuine supporters. The FA, SFA etc live the high life courtesy of we who pay our money each week

Yes definately it's only the small minded jacobites here in Scotland that don't want it, as they can't handle the fact that they're also British as well as Scottish

Don't think we can because we would have to do the same in the World Cup, something to do with F.I.F.A
