I am used to using nintendo 64 and I can't seem to get a game going. Everything I try brings me back to the same spot. I accidentally stumbled into a game but I have no idea how I got there. Please help. I would like step by step instructions if possible. Can I have a season or just individual games?

STEP BY STEP, CHECK IT OUT: WHEN THE GAME LOADS, THE PRESS START SCREEN POPS UP; PRESS START. MUSIC STARTS AND YOUR OPTIONS POP UP. PLAY NOW SHOULD BE THE FIRST THING YOU SEE; PRESS X ON THAT. YOU WILL SEE TWO TEAMS, GO TO THE SIDE YOU WANT; EITHER HOME OR AWAY. PRESS UP ON THE DIRECTIONAL PAD UNTIL YOU REACH THE TEAM YOU DESIRE, THEN PRESS X. NEXT YOU GET THE COACH/PLAYBOOK MENU, PRESS X. ANOTHER SCREEN WILL POSSIBLY POP UP ON UNIFORMS MAYBE; PRESS X AND YOUR GAME WILL BE LOADING AND SOON YOU WILL BE IN THE ACTION!!!

Use Exhibition game to start a quick game. Just highlight that option and hit the X button or Start. That will bring up the two teams you can pick from. Hit start again to actually start the game with those two teams.

There is also a way to play in franchise mode, under (sorry, not at home now and forgot the name of the bar).... second one on the list I think. Game mode maybe?

You can also create a player under Game Mode if you select a certain option (sorry again, my brain seems to have turned to mush and I can't recall the name).

Good luck. It's an awesome game.
