The gearing on my Bonneville T100 seems very low and I keep looking for a 6th gear. The engine sprocket is 18t, would a larger sprocket be a good idea, if so what size?Has anyone else noticed this problem?

Hi Trixie,
Yes changing the front sprocket on the new Bonnevilles is a very common upgrade. Usually one tooth larger is enough but some people who spend alot of time on the highway opt for two teeth larger. Check out www.bellacorse.com and
www.newbonneville.com both sites carry optional front sprockets and alot of other accessories. The Bonneville is a very nice bike, I have a 2002 model, I think mine was 17 teeth stock I went to 18, if yours is already 18 it could be that 19 is the only one available to you.
