What makes knowing about war or serving in a war a requirement for becoming President. We have a number of Presidents who knew absolutely nothing about war & they served well.
Was is a political tool, you must know how to use the tools either to go to war or to stay out of war. FDR never served a day in the military, yet he was a dang good war President! Abe Lincoln knew nothing about war & still managed to keep the union together by Using the Civil War to stop the South from seceding. It isn't that you have to have fought yourself, it's who you have around you for knowledgable advice. That's the secret!

The only thing I'm worried about is the way Obama is going after Jewish dollars for his campaign by exhibiting his lovey-dovey stance for Israel. Could he be the next puppet Israel is looking for now that Israel can no longer twiddle the Repug Senators so comfortably after the Abramoff bribery has been exposed? Hope that Obama is capable of diferentiating between the good Jewish Americans and the bad Zionist manipulators and not be easily blinded by the flow of $$$$ into his campaign. Hope he doesn't get clouded by those Zionist organizations such as AIPAC. AEI, etc.that have helped promote so much mess and corruption these past decade for the U.S..

It is not a requirement that only those who have fought in a war are able to comment on war. Roosevelt one of our greatest presidents ran a war from a wheelchair. That being said Obama is full of crap. Being a socialist what could one expect
