I'm a 14 year old female and I feel too tall.
I'm 5'4, I want to lose like...at LEAST one inch!!!! >< I appear too tall around others and I would look better if I was shorter =/

You are not too tall. Just wait for the others your age to catch up with you... you're probably just growing a little faster than they are.

The only reason you appear tall right now is because most of your friends just haven't had their growth spurt yet. Remember, boys grow til they are in their 20's so you won't be too tall for them. Maybe you're a little self conscious now but wait a little bit they will all catch up and many will spurt past you.
If I could just give you a word of advice...you should learn to accept who and what you are and not try to change yourself to fit in with others. You're probably more perfect than you even suspect. If you respect yourself ...others will too.

You're perfect! 14 and 5'4" is great!!
And if any of the kids are saying stuff to you - it's probably because they are jealous!
Count your blessings - (starting with two arms, two legs, pretty face - and all of your organs working) - and when you do - being tall (and 5' 4" is not that tall) will seem really unimportant!!

yeah what she said. not everyone grows at the same time. most of my freinds are taller than me. your not to tall dont worry 'bout it. think of all the advantages of being tall.

what is your weight?
and people at my school are into about 5'6, girls and i am not kidding i am 5'3, i dont feel that tall
