Well the ones that live subterranean will have a better chance. We would need massive heating systems to keep us from freezing to death. Once the internal core of the Earth cools off then we'll all be in trouble. I would also guesstimate that there would be a loss gravity between the now extinguished SOL / SUN. So we may loose our orbit. After this then we would experience catastrophic climate changes. Hope this helps. P.s. You might have a night mare about this; :)

There will not be any humankind to see the sun after it runs out of fuel. Everything will be dead and gone. Stand still.

If ' humankind ' is still around when that happens, we'll probably already have left Earth to colonize the rest of the Galaxy.
However I think it's more probable that humans would evolve to deal with the climatic changes....seeing that it would take a few billion years for the sun to eventually run out of fuel....but ultimately it would lead to our ' Ascension ' to a higher plane of existence....or to our extinction.

Its one of humanities enduring survival traits that we can quickly adapt to our surroundings, allowing us to firstly colonise the entire earth, and secondly to begin an exploration of space. By the time the Sun runs out of fuel, billions of years into the future, we should have gone throughout the galaxy, so even if Billions of people die on earth and our solar system there will be enough human dna spread throughout the universe to ensure our survival.

The sun is expected to continue burning for at least 3-4 billion more years, so it's hard to say. That's a REALLY long time. I don't imagine humans will even be around in their present form at that time. If they are, they may have learned to escape our solar system, and it won't be an issue. It's actually more likely that the earth will become uninhabitable long before that, so we'll have to do something sooner.

Well, unless we blow ourselves up by then we should be fine. There are plenty of other systems out there. By the time the sun runs out of fuel, we should be reaching out in the universe. The sun has lots of fuel and is not going to run out anytime soon.

Nothing on earth will survive when the sun burns out. The sun is actually a middle-aged star, so it's half way there!

the fact of the matter is that when the sun begins to die out it will enlarge and eventually engulf the inner part of the solar system. That being said the human race will most likely be non exsistent by then anyways. We are the ones killing ourselves with global warming and the depletion of the rain forest and lack of clean water.

human kind will not survive unless you know differently from traveling forward in time and seeing human kind survive when the sun dies. the only way that can happen is for you to travel forward in time to a time just before the sun dies and transport all of mankind back to a previous time. but you must choose that (impossible) mission and succeed at it...sounds more like science fiction, though.

We'd have to colonize other worlds and potentially other solar systems, which would take enormous amounts of resources.
However, the Sun won't run out of hydrogen for another 5 billion years, so it's hardly something to fret over.
