We were having a meal and chatting away, it was just the two of us. Suddenly I saw another womans face superimposed over her face. The face and hairstyle were pleasing to the eye. The face was of an attractive woman probably in her late 50's early 60's, very friendly and warm. My friend was not aware of this happening. I wonder who the woman could have been (it's not her mum). My friend is also in the same age group. Any ideas??

Please guys, I'm serious. I wasn't on drugs and didn't have any wine. I'm trying to find out why such a thing would happen, what would be the reason. I didn't recognise the face and have come across nobody that even looks like the woman (face).

I could see my friends face through the superimposed face. This wasn't a frightening experience. It's something I can't explain.

beatlefan - you are nearest to the explanation I'm looking for. I have only known this friend for 2 years and she has told me that she loves me to bits. She said she thinks of me as a daughter. Funny too, she feels like family to me.

If you believe in reincarnation, you may have shared a previous lifetime with this person, and she may have said something, or gotten a look on her face, or has a mannerism that triggered a memory of this past life, of what she looked like then.....Perhaps a glimpse at the soul which resides in the body......an old soul....
I think that Hello Dave was trying to describe a being known as a "haint" (the word is a corruption of the word haunt, a haint attaches itself to a person, and haunts him, living off the person's energy until he has none left). If it were a haint, I don't think you would have percieved it as attractive, friendly, or warm, but if it was a memory from a deep connection with this person in a past life, that would certainly acount for your perception. Do you consider your friend to be a "soulmate" ?
Curious- People often reincarnate in soul groups together, playing out different roles over the lifetimes, if you have always felt like "family" to each other, the chances are good that you *have* been family along the way.

Its a spirit but it could have been anyones. I have heard of this before where they utilise a living persons energy field in order to manifest but have never witnessed it although if someone you know looks a bit weird one night without reason it could be a milder version of this happening
How unimaginative most of these people think you were on drugs

That happened to me once, where I saw another person's face on a friend. The thing of what was, I was tripping hard on acid.
Have you ever taken psycho active drugs before? You may have been having a flashback.

This is either a mental delusion,chemically induced hallucination, or some some Ghost watching you eat food? All are treatable by a sympathetic Psychiatrist.
