I want to make my visual basic environemnt greenish, im tired of the old dull gray color, i know this is possible after reviewing a tutorial on the net.

IMPORTANT: i do not want to change form colors so do not tell me instructions to change form colors, all i want to do is change my VB GUI INTERFACE,

i tried tools and options but all i could change is some list drop down animations.

thanks in advance,

codeseeker

VB derives its colors from the windows settings. Right click on your desk top and select properties. Goto the appearance tab and find the color scheme drop down. Select Olive Green then apply the changes.

Next time you start VB the IDE will make use of the new color scheme. Note some things won't change as the color scheme is derrived from the content. i.e. the opening help screen in VB2005 will still be blue.

Since no one here has been able to answer this question the 3 or 4 times you've asked, I suggest going to the site of the tutorial and inquire how it was done. Or else contact Microsoft.

Either way, if there is an answer you could post it here.
