Nowitski definetly. He's in top 10 for scoring and rebounding. Has a killer jumper and has good range. Led his team to the Finals last year and possibly this year. And.... The Mavs have a 49-9 team!

its hard 2 say but i think its out of Nowitski and Bryant b/c nowitski has really lead his team but don't get me wrong he has plenty of help with Devin Harris Michael Finley and Jason terry but on the other hand Kobe has help from only on player... Lamar Odom and he has been injured for half of the season and to lead his team to an 33-25 record and can have a possible win today march 2nd 2007 and is averaging 5.5 ASSIST per game a season high and your telling me that steve nash who has been out for about 1/6 of the year should be mvp the media is carzy these days i'll tell u 1 thing if the suns had the record the lakers had the media wouldn't even be considering steve nash a mvp KOBE OR NOWITSKI 4 MVP HOLLA AT UR BOY

KOBE, Look who Nowitizki has to work with, Jason Terry, Jerry Stackhouse,Josh Howard,Erick Dampier, And Nash has Amare Stoudamire. Who does Kobe have? This man averages over 25 a game and over 3 assists. Hands down its Kobe

Nowitzki, and its not really close. He is the best player, on the best team, and his stats are rediculous. 25+ points 9+ rebounds and 7+ assists is amazing. Nash averages 4 more assists, but about 7 less points, 8 less boards, and is on a less impressive team. Mavericks could still win 70...

Nash should win it but in an old article it said that they don't like to choose a player more then 2 years in a row , but he still should wint it because he has got the best stats and his team lost almost every game without him in the lineup. In second is Novitzki because he is leading a team to the best record in the league without much supporting cast besides howard and terry. Kobe or Arenas are interchangable at 3rd and 4th.

Nash? how? Amare, Sean, Leandro, and Raja are great players. how could you think nash wold win it once? it's dirk by far. i want Gilbert but lately he's been playing like crap. Dirk is retarted but he is the best player on his team and has amazing stats for a big man.

I mean 7 assists. (4 less then Nash)
24.7 ppg i think. (9th in NBA)
9.8 rebounds. (like 3 away from league high)

and he's beaten the suns this year already.

Nowitzki...he gets almost no public respect and is the most important player to his team by far...He averages great numbers in terms of assists, points, and rebounds every night...the dude is still vastly underrated and deserves the MVP award...plus, look who's at the top of the NBA right now!!!
