ok, so I'm homeschooled but just this week i started taking tennis at the local high school. Wednesdays and thursdays practice were cancelled because of snow. There is still left over snow today but they had school, I called and asked if there was practice and the coach told me they were just meeting in a room inside of the school but we werent going to play. I normally wear sweats to practice because it is so cold out, but since were not actually playing what should i wear? Would jeans and a sweatshirt b ok, or should i stick with sweats to b on the safe side?

I would recommend just wearing sweatpants with comfortable shorts under them. It is better to be safe than sorry. Your other option would be to wear jeans and bring a change of clothes if for some reason you do go outside. Make sure you are comfortable, that is the important thing.

wear sweats with shorts that have pockets underneath. You always want pockets with shorts or ball pants with a skirt because you need somewhere to put the tennis ball. It is hard to run in sweats, so you might feel more comfortable in shorts if it is warm enough. Wear a t-shirt with a sweatshirt over it. Never wear jeans to play tennis, you can't run in them. And you need a good pair of tennis shoes. Good luck.

ok, well when ur playing tennis, dont wear anything baggy that u cant run in, wear something like shorts with pockets to put the tennis balls in or a skirt, and a t-shirt or top thats comfortable to play tennis in. Wearing jeans wouldnt be good a good idea to play tennis in. But u can wear tracksuit pants or normal pants if it's cold.

i would show up in sweats to be on the safe side, or bring a change of clothes, you never know you might end up doing something else instead of playing

Even though it's not summer, when you can, try and wear skirts that you can put balls into, or pants with pockets for balls. I always hate picking up balls.

sweats... they'll probably work you inside by doing excercises... and if they don't, and just talk... you can feel comfortable and warm :)
