How to install tileboard on sheetrock walls?

What would I use to install tileboard (the fake plastic tile that comes in 4x8 sheets) onto a sheetrock wall? Would liquid nails work or tile adhesive?

I assume the "tileboard" you are referring is different than a tub surround. You are on the right track with the liquid nails.

There is a "quick grab" liquid nails made specifically for your situation.

You need to use an adhesive that is for tub surrounds. Liquid nails has solvents that will melt the plastic. Most home improvent centers have it.
