I think she'll end up with her ex Jim Carver. This would make a nice ending as they started out together in the first episodes.Shame about the headmaster chap but he's a bit of a weirdo anyway.

Bearing in mind she is at Police retirement age she will be shot but the bullet will bounce off her skull and lodge against her spine and she will be unable to walk, Then she will get her own offspin show as a wheelchair bound ex cop fighting crime still but as a CPS solicitor. It could be called A woman called Ironside!!!! Or did the americans do that with Raymond Burr in a man called Ironside!!!! Could be a good idea she could be based in the CPS office instead of the grumpy solicitor.

well! she and jim get kidnapped next week,and held at gun point! the reason she is in this situation is because jim ropes her in to help with this/her last case and that is how it happens. but i think she will go off with jim into the sunset! so long june...

i think jim carver will come to her rescue and save her and she will still leave but marry jim instead thats what i would hope would happen they belong together
