May be the address is not correct or not written the same way they are get used to it. You can register the letter that it can be delivered personally to the person with the name you register for. In this case if it's not delivered for any reason it returns back for but after some time may be like 3 months or more.
The normal if you are sending from USA and some far regions it takes between 10 days and 1 month for the normal post.
If you have something urgent, you can use fast mail like DHL,EMS or other company that can deliver post in Egypt.

What is it with young people these days ?
Young lady, put your letter in your pocket, take a plane to Cairo, Egypt. Then a taxi to Tanta, then deliver the letter to the one you want by hand.
Teenagers these days are driving me crazy. All this technology, these cellular phones, remote controls and computers have made you so lazy.
I remeber the good old days when I used to travel to Australia every year to say happy birthday to my adopted Kangaroo's biological mom.
jeeez get a life.

Perhaps if you posted the letter to a Tanta post office, it could be collected, probably with an extra fee!

because of several reasons, first most people dont have a true address it usually gets sent to the nearest local business and so can be stolen there, because it has a foreign stamp on it and there fore might contain money, so its worth stealing by any one who has access to it.
you could try sending it to be signed for old fashioned registered that way you can at least claim if it doesn't get there. but its still not guaranteed but it stands more chance, or you can use an old fashioned air mail gram the almost tissue paper like letters which are also their own envelope, because they are so thin they cannot contain money and are therefore not worth stealing. maybe!!!!

Take the letter to your post office and send it recorded delivery. This way you get proof that it has arrived at the other end.

26. Prostitutes consistently appear like Julia Roberts or Jamie Lee Curtis. they have costly outfits and extreme-high quality residences yet no pimps. they're friendly with the shopkeepers of their neighbourhood who don`t ideas in any respect what the lady does for a residing.
