It's incredible to see so many cons prancing up and down using the fact that we stopped Saddam to validate the war, meanwhile most dictators in the Middle East are much worse than Saddam ever was.
But anyway, answer the question. I'd like to see responses from both sides.

That will not happen, they don't have any oil. It is ironic though isn't it. This was one of the many reasons used, stopping him from killing his own people, to justify the war of choice- Iraq.
Hundreds of thousands have been killed, thousands more homeless and starving but all we have done is pass resolutions.
I can bet you dollars to donuts, if this country had oil to export or some resource this country needed, we would have been there with bells on.

by the time we illegally invaded Iraq, Amnesty International and Soldier of Fortune magazine had both published a list of the world's worst despotic leaders and governments. Saddam rated in the teens on both lists.

In case you have not noticed there is very little being done about the genocide in Darfur. So I think maybe you should think about why that is. Maybe it has to do with the fact that they have no riches and to intercept would not benefit one who wants power or wealth. However this is a very real problem that needs to be addressed, yet it is not being taken a seriously at Iraq. I don't think every problem has to be addressed with war, but it has to be addressed. Anyone who turns away from what is going on in Darfur should really look at themselves and their government who is supposed to help other countries. Yet the government select the countries that can give them the most benefits in return for assistance.
