I don't think u should take this 2 seriously. I think it's cuz she wants 2 know that she can defend herself. I'm not sure, but that's what it looks like 2 me. If it starts bothering u, then i just wouldn't stick up for her. Ur being nice 2 her, and if she can't be nice back, it's not ur fault.

Sounds like you have a loyal, positive nature... unfortunately, you have little control over the someone Else's
response. She facing insecurities and has become defensive. This way she can avoid having to face further attention. Perhaps you should approach this girl outside of school and remind her that you feel for her. If you still get "snarled" at then you did you part and give your attention to someone who will be grateful!

Though your intentions are very good, don't continue wasting your breath by being nice. Likewise, don't be mean. Just ignore her. Obviously, this person is not worth your time or effort. They may enjoy the attention that you have been giving to them and reverse their attitude when they realize that you are not into playing games. Best of luck to you!

A couple of things for you. One, give her a gift...a muzzle! Second, try to determine if her rabies shots are current. Seriously, find another friend. Wave this one goodbye.

If a lot of people harrass her, she might think you're going to be nice to her, only to stab you in the back when you've gained her trust.
