If I have multiple mediclaim insurance policies for example, one from Reliance, one from HDFC, and one from New India, what benefit would I get? Is it wise or foolish to have multiple insurance policies?

If you are a very sick person then having 2 policies would be more than enough to cover you 100%. Having more than 2 would be a waste of money on your part.

multiple insurance policies is a waste of money its better to have an good one.

legally...technically...ethically...you can have as many medical insurances you may want to have....provided the permium amount is less than 1 lakh. (else you are liable to pay tax)
