MIND-MAPPING do you find it useful for memorising information, revising etc ?

could you please let e know if its effective and worth spending the time learning how to do it. Also are there any good websites for free tools for it etc

It can be good if you find it easier to remember things if you look at them in a very ordered visual manner. Some folk remember things because they look distinctive, mind maps work for them. Some folk, like myself, simply need to read information several times to remember it, mind maps still work, but are not as effective.

There are books on mind-mapping.
It is effecive for certain types of information; not all.
