You have severe PMS. Talk to your OB/GYN about things you can do. I went on Zoloft for Post-partum depression after I lost a baby girl back in Aug and my OB told me that some women get a prescription for severe PMS and only take it about a week before their period starts to help control it.

Maybe some anger management would help too - you don't want to live a life of regret and risk damaging relationships with those you care about, you need to prevent the action to start with.

Be honest with the people that you trust as well, let them know that you are particularly vulnerable at that time of the month and agree with them some strategies for behaviour management, i.e. leave the room instead of entering into confrontation.

Try to look into some of your past behaviour to identify any triggers that sparked off your emotions, is there any way to avoid or minimise these situations when you are feeling particularly emotional?

The best defence is attack, so attack the problem rather than the people who love you. Good luck.
