I'm jealous, I haven't had a snow day in 15 years. If the world was ending I'd probably still have to come to work!

I love snow days, when I don't have to go anywhere, but I am in college right now and Spring Break is coming up and I want to go home. A week ago, the town I live had a snow storm/ blizzard pass through and dump about 29 inches of snow. That felt weird. I know what it feels like to have it snow alot but school never cancels, just 2 hour late start., my high school would do that all the time, it would always be the last on the bandwagon to call off school. In college, it is much more rarer to have class called off but it does happen.

I love the snow. When I was small, we had great snowfalls and the snow would lay on the ground for weeks. Now we might get 2 days of snow a year that only dusts the ground. I'm dying to take my 3 year old twins sledging, its so disappointing

I have a teenage son..fifteen. He likes snow days but hates to go back to school the next day because they try to catch up too much work. Some times a snow day is not worth it. I am from upstate NY and we had freezing rain and snow today and NO SCHOOL.

I love snow days. It's nice to be able to curl up at home, play and watch movies with my kids. I work but if school and day care are closed due to bad weather....I also get to stay home (with PAY)! It's nice to remember those days as kids when it was a snow day....be doing our happy dance!
Our school closes if it's too foggy outside! There were schools in Michigan that closed for 2-3 days back in January just because it was too cold! Our school remained open and the buses ran however, they kept the kids indoors for recess.

As a smooth fella turning out to be up in lengthy island I used to wish for snow days contained in the wintry climate even as it became snowing after I went to mattress. God...I loved them so...yet when we had more suitable than 5 snowdays we had to make it up on the top of the school year. That area of it became a bummer. have a good time with your damage day... Cici B, you're ruining the phantasm of a loose day for the youngsters. How do you deal with to coach seventh graders and preserve your sanity? God it truly is gotta be confusing.

Oh to be a kid again. I loved them when I was a kid, but now I can't deal with them. The cold makes my bones ache. And I'm afraid I'll fall in the snow & break a bone.

I am not a big fan of snow at all. I like it in certain proportion but it snows tooo heavily in Edmonton,Canada. I know people who ski or snowboard like snow!!!! But that certainly doesn't include me!
