ok, so I'm homeschooled but just this week i started taking tennis at the local high school. Wednesdays and thursdays practice were cancelled because of snow. There is still left over snow today but they had school, I called and asked if there was practice and the coach told me they were just meeting in a room inside of the school but we werent going to play. I normally wear sweats to practice because it is so cold out, but since were not actually playing what should i wear? Would jeans and a sweatshirt b ok, or should i stick with sweats to b on the safe side?

I'm worried because I'm the only one without friends there, cauz i'm homeschooled and dont go to that school, and I dont want people thinking i'm wierd first thing off. And I dont want the coach to b like "what the heck" if i call again, cauz she's kinda mean...

the coach told me that they were just going over the tournament and game schedule but who knows what she'll make us do..?!

i would wear jeans. no one would get dressed to play tennis if theyre not playing.

I think you are too worried about this...but if you really need a suggestion, I'd still go with "work-out" clothes like sweats or yoga pants. You never know what you will have to do -- indoors or not! There may be strecthing or other activities planned! It is a tennis class, afterall. If you are still unsure, call and ask a classmate... or the teacher! :)

if your just having a meeting (i know you might not know cos your homeschooled) their usually talking about rules, commitment, travelling, practicing.... etc. So you dont have to worry about athletic wear, cos your gonna be inside. people are probably just gonna be wearing what they wore that day (at school), so you can just dress cassually.. Their probably not gonna play, but you may wanna pack a small extra bag with sweatpants in it, incase you do and just slip them on! But, I doubt it!

I would wear a cute pair of yoga pants or something along those lines. They look cute and just in case you have to move around a lot you wouldn't want to be restricted in jeans. Have fun!

ok you should wear a skirt and a t-shirt but bring a gym bag w/ sweats in it! or wear loss jeans and a tee. good luck!! and dont worry you will make friends soon enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
