i can only go with one of the greatest. would be impossible to deem one the greatest without some sort of guide to go buy (commercially, ratings, duration, and so forth.)
i never watched it in primetime cuz i too thought it might have been lame. i watch just about everyday now thanks to syndication plus i own two seasons.

I don't know that you can compare across decades like that. It definitely has very memorable episodes that rank it among the best sitcoms. However, how can you compare to "I Love Lucy", "Dick Van Dyke", or "MASH" which also have memorable episodes, but had television standards that were so much more strict. They could never have done most of Seinfeld's storylines if they wanted to. People always tend to rank more recent TV shows more highly just because that's what we all remember the most.

Seinfeld acquaintances i like Lucy Seinfeld and acquaintances have been in basic terms the wonderful shows. not something has come on the brink of them related to originality and script and the actors on the tutor. i've got seen the two a variety of shows returned and returned returned, I nevertheless chortle. i like Lucy is a pioneer for comedy. It became the 1st tutor to apply extra desirable than one cameral attitude and Lucille Ball is a comedic genius. those shows are classics.

i think so. the plots and originality of the episodes are fantastic. the little things in the episodes, like the sub-plots, also make it totally worth watching. each Seinfeld is amazingly comedic and i love to watch them. there are so many memorable moments that we make fun of today, like Kramer's "serenity now". this is the best sitcom ever!

No, but it was very good. I don't have an all time fave, but I never tire of watching Seinfeld reruns.

hells yes it is..i love seinfeld..every episode i am rolling, tears coming out, almost going to pee on myself..my all time fave is elaine dancing..man that was some great writing..no show can tope seinfeld...

I hated that show. In fact, when everyone was trying to predict what would happen in the last episode, I said, "I could care less what happens to any of them because they're all dispicable people." Funny - that's just what the final episode was about!

This guy above said it sucks & annoyed him...but notice he watched it enough to enjoy Kramer.

i never wanted to watch it b4 b/c i thought it looked lame. but i started watchin them not too long ago and i must agree with u its one of the best out there!!
