In the first scene with Angel Eyes (looks like mango) and the scene with Tuco in the POW camp (salad?).

I think it was potato soup. I can remember them scoping up little chunks that looked like pieces of potato.

That wasn't a potatoe. That was Lee Van Cleefs finger.
