We had the same problem when I purchased my laptop and connected it to our network.
You are obviously using a router. You need to sign into your router using your I.P. address. Simply type it into whatever web browser you use.
You need to set up port forwarding to ensure your phone is not interrupted by your internet use. Go onto the website for your router (example Lyxsis) and you should be able to get specific instructions on how to set up port forwarding. As all routers are different, I can't get more specific than that.

how many computers do you have? im assuming you have several.. if all computers disconnects when someone is calling you or when you are making an outbound call then most likely problem is within the DSL filter on your house, but if its only the wireless computer, most likely its the wireless channel of the router especially when you are using a wireless/cordless phone that runs on 2.4ghz. change the wireless channel of the router, you'll be fine.. if not call your ISP or the router manufacturer..

Is it a cordless phone? Try changing the channel used by the router -- I find channel 4 works well for avoiding interference.
