I would say this is almost ceratinly an elaborate scam, especially if they are asking for your bank details. Having checked, the address of the law firm (and they would call themselves "solicitors" in the UK, not a "law firm") is actually a photo developing shop:http://www.londononline.co.uk/profiles/110851/.

All legitimate British solicitors are members of The Law Society. You can check with them if such a person as "Alexander Marshall" or company called "Campbell Law Firm" exists:http://www.lawsociety.org.uk/aboutlawsociety.law

Here is a list of all the victims of the London bombings on that day, which may help you to find if the details of the deceased person tie up :http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/shared/spl/hi/uk/05/london_blasts/victims/default.stm

SCAM, Hoax, ......

If you do contact them, it will seem very legal and first but before you can get the money you will have to pay the taxes or tranfer fee, or ..... you pay but you won't get the money.
