Windows and Macs use different hardware, and different processors types. You cannot normally install one OS on the other system. (Although, some Macs come with intel processors now.)

To start off. APPLE is the best! With windows you are much more likely to recieve some sort of internet virus. Apples don't get them becuase there are very few virusus out there for the apple. Not impossible though highly unlikley. Apples are the industry standered for promotional, magazine and many print industries. There are some games available through Macmall,Macwharehouse and Macgames. However, most games are made for windows. As far as usabilty both are very capable machines, however most apples can be fixed by partioning the hard drive or disk utility. Very simple. The reason you can't install the windows game on Mac is because of the platform difference. Windows and Osx are two differnet setups, It wasn't till just the new release that Apples could run windows. As for running Mac on windows I haven't tried but don't think it would work. Unless the program comes with a double install like some high end programs do now. To be completly honest, give the Macbook a try, I am on my 3rd Mac and still loving it. If you a diehard for games you will have a lot more fun with the windows but if you want it for business, internet, design you can't go wrong with a Mac. Also if you purpose is for college your best bet is to check first to see what you need for an Art or Web you night need Mac for History, Science you will need a windows. In the terms of hardware they are both equal machines my macbook has 11 different ports on it, I specail order with 7200 series processor for graphics I run a printer, bluetooth, internet and scanner rather well on it. If you do check out the website you might find a fewbad comments on Apple products but don't worry. I think are just from window diehards.
If you are somewhat computer savy it should be no problem.
Go Mac! Hope this helps!

installing mac os on a windows machine will not work. as said by the previous comment, its different hardware and will not operate. however. all of the new macs come with the capability to run windows and mac os at the same time without re-boot. mac doesnt need antivirus or antispyware nor will they have as many hardware and software issues as PC. in addition, if you want a windows XP machine, you are out of luck because vista has taken over and there are no more xp computers
