I am not very good with make up. I would like some color and application tips. I have fair skin, brown green eyes and short reddish hair. Anyone have any ideas?

I think you should get a grey eyeliner, a white shimmery shadow and a dark beige shadow, brown mascara, fair translusent pressed powder, a light pink blush and a clear gloss. In the morning, after washing your face, dust the pressed powder all over your face. Then put a little bit of blush on the apples of your cheeks. Put the dark beige eyeshadow in the crease of your eye (right above the lid) and put the white eyeshadow under your eyebrows and on the inner corner of your eye. Then lightly trace the outer corner of your eyelid with the grey eyeliner, and smudge it a little with your finger. Put mascara on the top lashes only, and then put on your gloss. I think this would look so nice on you...you probably don't need alot of colour because you have reddish hair and green in your eyes. These lighter colours are a good idea because even if you're not very good with makeup, these colours are universally flattering, and no one will notice if you make a slight booboo. Plus, I think that the lighter colours will really brighten up your face and open up your eyes (I have similar colouring and this is the makeup I use and I love it). Have fun!

Light blush to bring out your cheek bones. Then you should go with browns and deep purples. For the best eyeliner, apply it right above lash line and below bottom lashes. Smudge. Now put a dark color (brown or purple) in the crease of your eye. Now put a lighter version of that on the lid of your eye.. blend with the darker color. Apply jet black mascara and curl eyelashes... TADA!

Neutral shades are the best for any skin tone - go to a store like Boots/Superdrug, that sort of make-up place, experiment with the testers and see what suits you best. Or look around on the internet for celebrity make-up etc and see if there are any you'd like to try yourself. Teenage magazines are good inspiration too.

And finally, this website will help you with make-up application tips and some other cool stuff too:

Good luck!

wow. this is a tuffy.
i suggest to go with either a smokey look or an emerald green.

if you want to keep it lookin nautral, i suggest to use a sheer nude shadow from lid to brow line and use black eyeliner on the inside of your eyes. then curl your eye lashes and apply 2-3 coats of balck mascara.

the best mascara choice is probably Lash Exact.

this should make your eyes pop and look positivly stunning!

I would go with something that's not too flashy like earthtones. Lots of browns, greens, gold, silver. I am also a hugevfan of lip gloss. Get something with a lil tint to it and it will look fabulous.
