well unfourtnatly I have desided that we shall no longer pick on any other ethnic group exept the canadians. so where thier money came from dosent matter. unless it's paper then it came from a tree or plant

I'm not sure what your question means. The coin is made of bronze plated nickel, it is made by the Royal Canadian Mint. If you mean why does Canada have a dollar rather than the British pound we decided to use the American style of currency in late colonial times.
