The universe is expanding into itself, like a doughnut. The big bang is a constant event- a giant, super white hole spewing out recycled matter and energy from our side of the universe.

Its comparable to filling a balloon eventually the forces within are too great and the membrane explodes, so too with the Universe as it expands it reaches a limit and one day kaaablam only no one knows when

The universe is expanding at a rate so fast that we do not have the technology to know where it is going to stop. Because of this limitation we cannot measure it. From being unable to measure it and quantify it we do not know how big it really is and its body. The measure of the universe does not have a unit. This is required.

It's expanding into the farthest reaches of the unexpanded universe. We have no idea just how large that is, nor will we ever know for sure. Since the Earth will be destroyed in about 5 billion years, no one will ever get to the edge of what is know empty space. It's just too far and time is against us.

One: scientists believe it is expanding but they are not 100 percent certain...

Two: 'tis expanding (in my belief) in a space of nothing because it started out of nothing (according to my theory anyways)...

There is a theory which states that if ever anybody discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened.

the universe is not expanding at all infact its starting to implode on its self and planets are getting closer thats why the moon is getting bigger and the sun is hotter than before they try to fob you of with global warming when infact we are heading for another big bang like the one which created us in the first place this is the truth and they will never tell you because of wide spread panic
