I wanted to pre-order the last book and I wanted to know if I would receive it on the day it's released. I have a books-a-million membership but I think I'm going to buy it from barnes and noble or amazon. I looked all over the site and they just say it will be shipped on the day it's released but I want to know if I'll get it that day or have to wait until the next day which will probably be on a monday.

It says at amazon, "Pre-order Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows today and be one of the first to receive your copy on or just after 7/21/2007."

That's their hedge, because it depends on where you live and if there are any glitches with the post office. FWIW, I ordered #6 from there and it did indeed arrive on the day of release, much to my surprise. I figured it'd be Monday at the earliest. They usually have them ready to go but with a notice that the books are not to be delivered BEFORE the release date.

HTH!

I know you can pre order at amazon and pick it up in the store at midnight or the next day (on saturday) that might be the best way to insure youget it the day it is released. Beware though that if youwant to get it at midnight they pass them out the order in which you ordered it so it may take a long time waiting in line to get the book that night. I preordered mine from a small local book store for the 6th book and got it right at midnight at thier release party and it was a lot of fun. I am sorry i dont know much about the shipping but i think you get it saturday.

I Pre-ordered for book 5 & book 6, I got Book 5 the morning it was released, and I got book 6 a week after it was released your best bet is going to the bookstore that day, it's much cheaper and reliable

confident, you will recieve the Harry Potter e book from Amazon on the twenty first yet on condition which you pre-ordered it until now July seventeenth. in case you ordered it after July seventeenth, you maximum possibly will recieve it later.... different places like case in point Borders, delivers you a ristband interior the morning of Friday July twentieth to save your place in line and save your reservation of your e book (on condition which you preordered). Then at hour of darkness of Friday you could bypass and p.c.. up your e book until the shops close on July twenty first at evening.
