Never buy sandwiches - make your own. Never have coffee out. Only buy one lotto ticket each week - no more. Walk to work and save the fare. If you have to go on bus, get on one or two stops later for cheaper fare and free exercise. Don't drink alcohol - too expensive. Don't smoke - too expensive. Buy bread and veg at Tesco at about 7pm- got to clear it - very, very cheap! Never use car parks- ever. Park away from town and walk in.

I've saved thousands doing this. I love it!

Quit buying sodas and bottled water. Sodas are not good for you anyway and most bottled water is made from someones city water. Then try to limit the amount of processed food you buy and consume. Purchase fresh veggies and fruit and prepare your meals from scratch. If you live where you can do it, walk and or ride a bike as much as possible to save on expensive fuel. If you're paying your own electric and gas bills, turn the thermostat down to about 65F in the winter and wear a sweater. In the summer turn it up to around 80F and use a fan. There are a lot of ways to save other than these. You just have to look for them and be willing to live without all the little luxuries and conveniencies. Good Luck.

Each paycheck set aside an a loted amount and put it into a savings acct this way it is not burning a hole in your pocket and you can gain interest. Try walking dog, doing people's grocery shopping for them or lawn work for extra cash and then stick it in your sav. acct.

Buy drugstore brand of name brand medicine (it has the same active ingredients). Stop buying Starbucks. Make it at home (much cheaper). Use plastic bags from grocery store as trash bags. Shop at discount places for clothes, shoes and home products like Marshalls, TJ Maxx and Lohmanns (go to sale section for like 80% off retail).
