Questions are for someone who was in the Korrean war....this is for a class project...what should I ask?

Did you volunteer, or were you drafted?
How did you feel about going to Korea?
How did you feel when you got there?
Was it different than you imagined?
How did you feel your first day in the field?
How did you feel when you were told you were going home?
How did that experience change your life?

Ask how the experience changed their lives. What did they do during the war? How were they affected by it? Did they actually serve in the war? If so, what was it like during battle? Were any of their friends or family members killed? How did that make them feel? How did they change throughout the war? Do they see the world differently now? Were there any war experiences that were exciting, interesting, or tragic? Good luck with your project!

Most kids my age, think of war based upon the movies. How is this image different from what you experienced?

How did the war experience change you? For the better? For worse?

People talk about post-war syndrome. What type of things happen with this? Give an example.
