Salad dressings are sold on the shelf and not in the refidgerated section..I mean some do..but most are not. How gross is it to know your blue cheese dressing has been on a shelf for three months..UGH!

I once had four red bulls in only three hours. at the end of the day though i was soooooo exausted so i went to bed and didnt wake up until 4:00 then next day! no more red bull for me

Shelf life is directly proportional to preservatives.
Better to make your own dressing, or only buy the refrigerated stuff. I LOVE blue cheese dressing! De Heaven!!!

Not sure, but since you pointed it out, I guess I agree. I know that cheese can sit on the shelf, but probably has a lot of preservatives to do that and not go bad. Gross!

Yeah. I've often wondered how come ANY salad dressing is sold out of the frig., but technically I think it lasts longer than if it were in the frig for a month or more.

Those dressings on the shelf are fine. They are designed to be that way. I like Ranch.

cheese is curdled milk anyway. as long as it's sealed it's perfectly safe, refrigeration has only been around for a little while historically anyway.

well, blue cheese not my favorite anyway. I would imagine that is why they have expiration dates on the bottles now.
