Because of increased blood volume during pregnancy, sometimes irregularities can be identified during this time. It is important that you tell your doctor about your symptoms- with details about what you were feeling at the time, doing at the time, time of day, time length of symptoms and description such as "faster, slower, skips..." etc. What you describe could be anything from a normal heart mumur to serious heart problems that could only be identified through further testing.

I had what you are describing a few months ago. I think I was about 4-5 months pregnant. I am 7 now..... I described them as heart palpitations. I asked my doc and she said that some woman just have them during pregnancy. If there is no history of heart problems in your family, I am sure it is fine but I would make sure you tell your doc, just to be on the safe side.

Um to the guy who left 19!?!?!? yeah a minimum of she is an grownup, if she is sufficiently old to vote, then she will additionally decide for to have a splash one, I basically grew to become 20 2 days in the past, and that i'm 13 weeks pregnant we've been mutually for 5 years, and a few married couples with teenagers would be unable to even say they have been mutually that long, in any case to the question, sorry... Your physique has to offer greater blood for the infant (confident the blood volume on your physique will enhance) that could desire to be the added stress on your heart, infact my acquaintances freaked out and took me to the e.r. the place they informed me that it replaced into fantastic. so a good distance as your ft, i be responsive to with mine they get sore greater handy, yet i think of you're basically fantastic, i'm hoping that enables.

Oh yes, I have a nine month old baby so I know all about what you are feeling. I suffer from depression, post traumatic stress syndrome and panic and anxiety disorders. Please don't think I am giving you any diagnosis, but it is something to check with your doctor. Anxiety was very strong in my pregnancy ,and this will cause you to feel your heart beat-ting differently. If you are not sleeping ,your hands or feet go numb or feel tingly, you are light headed when you stand up , your heart is racing or pounding very hard , you feel a lump in your throat-it may feel hard to swallow,or feelings of panic or a sense of doom, it sounds like anxiety.less likely it could be a condition that may harm you or the baby;either way you must contact your health care provider to assess and solve this issue. Please remember it is very common to feel a wide range of emotions so don't be scared, be safe. congratulations

I've had that too. I'm about 29 weeks now and especially when I'm lying down on my left side (as I'm supposed to), sometimes I can actually feel my heart beating really hard, and it almost feels like it's going to burst out my chest. I can feel it not just in my chest, but like up through my neck, too.

Really wierd....I just assume it's because my heart has to work harder because there's a greater volume of blood in my system, etc.

Pregnant women's hearts beats slower that usual. The baby's heart in pregnant women's belly beats even faster. It is possible that is what is happening to you. Talk to your OB doctor and let him or her know what you are going through.

your heart is working harder during pregnancy because your body has more blood, by the end of pregnancy you will have up to 50% more blood than you would normally have, it is not uncommon for you to be able to actually sort of "hear" your heart beating or notice your chest moving... don't get worried about it, just relax...and yes it happens to me to at 35 wks.

It's simple. Your heart just has too work harder to keep the blood flow going. And yes I can relate.
