I think that we might be talking about the stage musical verion of the show. According to Wikipedia the Stagedoor Manor theatre camp would be the first venue to stage the show. "High School Musical 2: Sing it all or nothing!" comes out this cinema and there is a third sequel planned "Haunted High School Musical" planned for release next year.

Come out on what? It's been on DVD since last spring. And you can get the rights to perform the play too.

I think it might be a play sometime in May. I believe it is coming to Florida to perform and then other states.
