The Dodgers are the team to beat in the NL West, as they are by far the only team in the in the division that could potentially produce runs to go along with a good pitching staff.

They have a good lineup with only a few questions, and if they go the Dodgers way they can certainly run away with the West, but I’m still not sure they’d make it to the World Series; although they do have a shot.

Of the questions they have:

Can Nomar stay healthy, can Kent rebound from his injury(s)?

Will Betemit, Martin, and Either continue to develop?

Saito, did well last year but is 37; how will he react if hitters are able to adjust to him?

As for their starting rotation, it is in pretty good shape with the only questions being will Randy Wolf ever realize the potential he displayed from 2001-2003 and can Kuo start to show something? Not bad that the major questions involve your 4 and 5 starters though.

Overall they have a good mix of veterans and young developing players; the key for them will be for the vets to stay healthy and for the kids to continue with their development. If those two things go right, they could make it far in the playoffs.

2007 NLCS: Cardinals and Dodgers, the two best NL teams. I wanted them to hook up last year but the Dodgers ran into a good Mets team. But I'll pick the Cards in 7, being a Cards fan I have to stick with them. Go Cards!

The NL West race will be interesting this year. I'm very excited. The Dodgers are the favorite to win it, but only if their aging lineup stays relatively healthy. If Nomar/Kent/Gonzalez miss significant amount of time, the Pads and the D-backs can sneak in there.

I'm ready i love baseball and about the dodgers they are probably the team with the least questions all around and with how bad the west plays they don't need to wow anybody to when it, they just need to play up to their capability.

I live for baseball season! haha.
Dodgers look good this year, but will not be winning it all- lineup is a bit thin, likewise with the pen.

East is where its at.
