This is from Wikipedia: He worked at great personal risk to save "tens of thousands" of Hungarian Jews in the later stages of World War II by issuing them protective passports from the Swedish embassy. Many people were heroes. Anyone who stood up for themselves and their neighbors, who knew the Holocaust and Hitler was wrong, who died protecting the innocent- all heroes. They don't have to have famous names or books written about them to be heroes.
