i went to work bare legged and i must say i have nice leggs and i was told i have to wear pantyhose what do you think???

If you have the legs & this won't be a problem at work, I say sure, why not.

I was always taught the rule was unless you are a supermodel, you should wear pantyhose to work. However, now I live in Florida and a lot of companies allow women to go barelegged. Problems usually occur in corporate jobs because it is not possible to let one person go without and make another wear hose, even though the reality is some people need to wear them and some don't.
I'm not being mean, just realistic - I wear hose because I know I look better with them. Unfortunately I have seen many women who must not own mirrors...
The bottom line, is if your company requires it, you must comply or look for a position in a more relaxed atmosphere.

I have great legs too, and always wear hose, but not pantyhose. I always sear stockings and a garter belt or thi highs, but never pantyhose. Hose may be required, but pantyhose may not be specified if you are wearing regular office attire. The only time they can direct you to wear only pantyhose id with a specific uniform, like shorts, mini skirt etc, otherwise stockings are OK.

In some companies, hose (stockings or pantyhose) is part of the dress code. You may want to wear very sheer pantyhose, but they tend to run very easily.

pantyhose will look better on your legs
- pantyhose are a must for the girl in the work place!
i wish more girls would wear pantyhose!

A lot of companies make you wear pantyhose, its their policy. Some companies let you go bare in the summer months. Unless you want to lose your job, I would.

if i were you i would wear tan pantyhose at least you will be wearing them and it wont be too overseas and at the end of day it will seam that you are not wearing them when you are if you know what i mean

I would say if it is someone of authority and what they say goes then yes wear pantyhose, but if they just want you to wear them because thats what they want then you should do whatever makes you comfortable.

Well if they have asked you to wear hose then you should abide by the rules. You don't say what kind of work you do, i presuming your in an office of some sort.
