I say, you wake him up about 6 times a night, make him put together a bottle, and hold a 10 pound bag of flour for 20-40 minutes on that chair, just for a few nights.
He'll change his tune.
If not, buy the chair yourself. He's being a pig, being up all night feeding is not an easy task, and your already sore and strained from birth and caring for baby, the last thing you need is to sit in a freaking computer chair half the night.
What a jerk.

Unless your partner is planning on lactating or taking care of ALL of the night feedings (I'd get this in writing), he ought to pay attention to what you need.
If you are breastfeeding, you are going to need a comfortable place to sit, several pillows (a boppy pillow is very useful), and a small table for drinks, spit-up rags, a book, etc. I prefer something that rocks when I'm nursing. Although I used my rocker/glider for my first child, I have only nursed in it a few times with my second child. I am much more comfortable with my second child nursing in my big, comfy rocking recliner (that does happen to be in front of my computer). But you have to find what works for you. You will definitely want something with padded arms, so your arms don't fall asleep holding your sleeping baby, and you'll need enough room for you AND your baby in the chair!
Another option is co-sleeping. Co-sleeping is an excellent way to care for your baby at night for a number of reasons. If you are nursing, you don't even have to get out of bed and before long, you and your baby will learn how to nurse while sleeping (every minute counts!). Also, both co-sleeping and breastfeeding have been proven to reduce the risks of SIDS. I put some links about safe co-sleeping at the bottom for your reference.
Good luck, sounds like you'll need it!

Wal-Mart (in store or on-line) has a glider and ottoman for 89 dollars. Of course you want to be comfortable, but I understand not spending a lot...I think the computer chair would get really annoying after a few nights :)

I agree with the first answer, plus you'll end up spending more than night time feedings in that chair. You definitely need something that provides comfort.

I agree that you need a comfortable chair. A computer chair is not going to be comfortable for the many hours that you'll be awake with your new baby. Print out all of your answers and show him how many of us agree with you!

Unless you breastfeed. Let him try sitting in that chair and feeding the baby. Let him experience firsthand how uncomfortable it is and maybe he will see things from your point of view.

Sounds like a jerk. Get it bring it home and use it every single time you can. Is he saying that because of lack of space. I noticed your price was in pounds, I know alot of European flats are small. Maybe that's what it really is instead of him being a jerk
