hey dude a good piece of advice dont go for glamour F1

going for glamour is ok. Looks are not that cool as a gladiator but when it comes to reliability then its is trusted as it is by hero honda. also it will shine when it comes to resale. the gladiator is a very good bike 5 speed and very cool looks, its reliability is also proven but when it comes to resale it wont work out as Glamour.

If i can suggest u a bike it would be Honda Shine 125 cc disc brakes, tubless tuf up tyres and loads of cool features.

Resale - Glamour is good
Looks - Gladiator is good
Looks and Resale - Honda Shine

Now you have two options, glamour (non PGMFI) and gladiator

i would say that if u r looking a rough &tough use and u can afford for its maintainance i would say u must take glamour that is for professional use and the other one is stylish, comfy, and a bit fuel efficent too. u can take this for your personal use u see! now the other one i add up is the Honda Shine! it has some of both the qualities for e.g its comfy, meant for buisness use, is fuel efficent and so on.going for glamour is ok.

: Now for the rest i leave on u.

Hi spiderboy,
I would suggest you to go for the Yamaha Gadiator and not the Hero Honda Glamour. The gladiator gives you a mileage of about 60 Kmpl, the Glamour gives you about the same when on road(not under test conditions).
Regarding the looks the Gladiotor gives you a 150cc look and believe me the performance is even better than that with 5-speed transmission (ride it to believe).

Glamour is the best choice when it comes to mileage. Gladiator has disappointed its owners in terms of fuel efficiency. Refer to overdrive's customer satisfaction survey for this. The reason is its the same libero engine bored to 125 cc. As we all know that wasnt one of the fuel efficient engine. Gladiator looks good but doesn't deliver. The newly upgraded glamour looks much better with alloys and black engine paint finish. Glamour enjoys good resale value and reliability is of top notch. And FI is the way to go and its the future. So, I would recommend to go for Glamour PGM-FI and ride into the future. It gives better mileage and smoothest ride. Somebody said about Honda Shine, yes its a good bike but doesn't excel in any department. It is not as refined as we would want it to be. The engine is little bit harsh not like typical honda.

As you are buying a bike for the first time, and fuel efficiency is your prime concern, the Glamour will be a better choice. the glamour gives an average of about 65 kmpl average, while the Gladiator gives about 60 kmpl. If you want good performance and handling, however, the Gladiator will be a better bike.

I suggest you also take a look at the bajaj discover. It is the best bike in this category. It gives 64 kpl. The gladiator gives 65 kpl. But I suggest you test ride both the bikes though my heart goes for the disco.
