Caulk around cracks and crevices in your bathroom and other rooms that you are having the problem. You can get some boric acid from your local hardware store and apply very lightly around the cracks in your air vents. Also apply it in the pipe voids where the pipes come into the house. If you do not want to use the boric acid you can get any type of residual insecticide from the hardware store or grocery store. Dust liberally underneith your house with the boric acid though. Try to keep your yard maintained and the problem should go away.
Trust me on this, I'm a trainer in the pest control industry. :-)

You could try putting molasses in water and they drown in the pails.

Or try a mixture of finely ground bran with molasses and an insecticide into a paste. Place around garden in containers with short sides.

Attract birds and squirrels with feeders? They like to eat grasshoppers. You could even just put some sunflower seeds on a paper plate.

Might also ask around at your local garden store for more ideas and find out what insecticide is being used at the moment because with grasshoppers and locusts they rotate the insecticides to prevent the insects getting used to them.
