How can I tell if a girl is bi?

Girls are always touchy with me. They'll hit me on the butt, kiss and hold hands. I can't tell what's going on.

I'm bicurious and don't want to come off that way just yet because i'm afraid to. So, it's pretty uncomfortable at times when women do this because it turns me on and I don't know it they are into girls.

How can I tell? Is there a casual way of finding out?

Yes there is a casual way of almost finding out - you ask casually

"Hey did you enjoy slapping my butt/kissing me? [laugh]"

"Why yes, would you like me to do it again?" She's possibly interested in you

"Why do you ask? Do you mind?" She's probably asking you if you're interested in her

"Sorry! I didn't mean any offense I guess I'm just a touchy feely kinda gal..." she's perhaps not interested in you.

However the only real way is to ask directly and get a direct answer.

"Have you ever been with a girl?"
"Yes"
"What's it like?" OR

"No"
"Me Neither!"

Some women are very huggy, touchy and even kissy by nature. And they just do it affectionately and have totally no idea that they are turning someone on. Don't ever assume anything, I already got my share of burns from this... Ask them. In this time and age, it's no longer offensive to ask if they are attracted to the same gender too... Something like.... "You don't happen to be sexually attracted to a woman, do you? Coz you are just sooo intensely sexy... and adventurous." It may sound like a crappy pickup line, but it's hard to take offense at it. Not to mention you might get your answer.

Asking is always good. Start by saying "No Offense", that way they'll know you aren't trying to be rude or anything.
I'd just ask, you might be surprised by a positive response.
