He used to pose as a commentator but during the Survivor Series in '97 when Bret Hart got "screwed" he was exposed as the one when he was spat on then he got booed and his idea is to do anything for the business so he decided he would let the fans boo him even more and started doing the whole thing with Stone Cold and it all evolved from there.

In reality, the Vince McMahon heel turn began at the Survivor Series in Montreal, 1997. The whole Bret Hart screwjob. It was the birth of the evil Mr. McMahon. Then the fued with Austin solidified the character.

Vince McMahon didn't turn heel, his "Mr. McMahon" character did. He did this first at the RAW after Survivir Series '97, with the classic line "Bret screwed Bret", and again on RAW on December 26, '06, by starting his fued with Shawn Michaels.

Vince a good man...He's very funny... Hmm turning heel... was a little stupid..and the only reason why he did that was because He could not defeat DX what so ever...(even though that was storylined...which is slow)

In december 2005 shawn michaels told vince to move on and vince got mad so he hated HBK and then DX re-joined so he had to take business of that and now that trump is here he's havin a feud with him now

well lets look at the Montreal screw job when he called the match between hbk and Bret "the hit man" hart he said the hbk made Bret tap out to the sharpshooter when he didn't tap and then made the hit man leave wwf for wcw and than there's the whole hulk hogan thing th stone cold thingwith hbk and most recently with dx and trump (which is a joke)
