My kx 250 does not idle at all. I kno 2 strokes dont idle like 4 strokes, but when i start it and the second i let off the throttle it dies. or when i ride, the second i pull in the clutch, it dies unless i rev it. I tried adjusting the air screws, but it doesnt do anything. Does anyone know what else i can do?

When was the last time you cleaned or changed your air filter?
A crusty filter will choke your bike.
Return carb. screws to original settings, clean your air filter and try again.

Try not adjusting the air screw but adjust the idle screw...it's located usually on the choke side of the carb. in line with the slide.

Did you adjust the "idle" screw?
It's on the left of the carb with a coiled spring on it.
Tighten it to raise the idle (clockwise).
Still nothing? - clean the carb (pilot jet in the float bowl) and air cleaner.

If it seems to be smoking a lot, then you might need to check the ratio of 2 cycle oil to gasoline. If you are premixing then maybe try slightly less oil. If it has an oil pump, make sure it is adjusted correctly.

If it isn't smoking excessively, then you might just need to clean or adjust your carb.

there should be a small knob near the engine. try turning that once the engine is warm. also try turning your choke up some.

Try to adjust the carburetor fuel injection.
Increase the raise (!! local term) or fuel flow.
