Hi, I'm 24 years old, and I'm from Argentina.
I need your help to make a decision: Which one do you think is the best place to spend my hollidays (about 7 days) alone, Disney (Orlando) or Cancún?
Where do you think I could have more fun, considering the fact that I'm going by myself since it is not holliday time in my country, and all my friends are working?...
I really don't want to stay home... Please, help me decide

As much as I hate to say it, and I am a Disney fanatic, I think Cancun would be better for you. Disney is the most magical place on earth, but for your age and the fact that you will be going alone, you need to go to the beach. Sit out in the sun and relax.

The answer may depend upon what kind of experience you are looking for.
In my opinion, Cancun is beautiful, relaxing and has many nightclubs that you can go dancing at and meet new people. Being you are from Argentina, it may also seem somewhat familiar to you.
If you go to Disney World, you will see many interesting things but you are unlikely to meet anyone as it is more of a family resort. That may be what you want, though. Disney will cost more, I would think.

I would choose Cancun personally. I have been to both. You should find a tour company like Virgin or Disney Vacations to take your trip. That way you are traveling in a group, someone has to account for you, and you have a chance to meet other people. Do not travel alone to either place. Neither one is safe. Look for a company that does tours for college students.

Cancun. It attracts groups of singles; is not as outrageously priced as Disney World and has many beaches (The best are south of Cancun itself.) and other adult attractions such as the Mayan culture and ruins, outdoor activities; other beach and jungle outings. No question in my mind where a 24 year old would have more fun.

It depends on what you enjoy doing. If you prefer the beach, suntanning, drinking and relaxing, Cancun is your best choice. On the other hand, if you prefer rides, and don't mind children, Disney may be a better choice. Personally, I'd go to Cancun!

If you've never been to USA before I'd recommend Disney, even though it's s-o-o-o storybook, so plastic. Thing is, Disney will just take one day at most and Orlando will be more expensive. Cancun, on the other hand is off-season. You might find yourself just too isolated. Disney, before the hurricane season.

I would have to say Cancun. But its so dangerous for a young woman to be traveling by herself these days. You should really try to find someone to go with you to either location.

I love both places, but Cancun is more fun if you are going alone.
